Services include analog voice, analog data (19.2 Kbps), Digital Data (56 or 64 Kbps), T1 (1.5 Mbps), Fractional T1 (128 to 768 Kbps) and T3 (44.736 Mbps). Overview

Private Line service connects geographically dispersed locations at a constant, sustained bandwidth. You get maximum security and flexibility, especially for important applications, such as transaction-based tasks, on-request videoconferencing, data transfer, remote collaboration and LAN/WAN interconnections. Private line service works between two of your locations, one of your locations and a Verizon switch or POP (Point-of-Presence), or POP to POP locations. Verizon's national and global private line services support a variety of CPE interfaces: 2 wire, 4 wire analog and digital, CSU/DSU, modems, mainframes, PCs, video codecs, LAN bridges and routers, PBXs, security systems and computer terminals.

You can use national and global private line service from Verizon to connect your business to locations in the United States or around the world. For improved diagnostics and responsiveness, private line service may be offered on a managed basis.

Verizon offers four types of Private Lines:

• Digital transmission at low to medium speeds up to 64 Kbps
• Digital transmission at speeds ranging from 128 Kbps to 768 Kbps over fiber optic facilities (Fractional T1)
• Digital transmission at speeds of 1.544 Mbps (T1)
• Digital Transmission at speeds of 44.736 Mbps (T3)
