One thing average direct Internet access solutions have always lacked is full control over what goes into the connection and how it works. Verizon’s Internet service lets you chose the kind of service that is right for your business. In today’s fast-paced online marketing and e-commerce arena, having an economical solution custom-fitted to meet your needs is the edge you can use to gain leverage over your competitors.

Verizon allows you to configure your entire network, from protocol to circuitry. They offer a large variety of things you can customize on your line and guarantee the best service available– all with just a simple tweak of a few settings in your line. It’s that simple; and the rewards that you reap are the fruits of a system that works seamlessly with you to bring in maximum results.

A world of various choices

When you ask Verizon to help you set up a dedicated Internet connection, Verizon’s representatives will sit down with you and go over everything you’ll need. This means, for example, they will ask you what kind of dedicated access service you will need. If you’re looking for a low-end solution for your network, they will demonstrate how a T1 or a multilink frame relay service will do the job for you. On the other hand, if you’d rather go with a non-traditional connection method, they will help you set up an Ethernet connection for your system.

Should problems occur with the line at any time during the day, Verizon makes sure you are fully aware of how you can keep your connection alive – circuit redundancy is one way of ensuring your connection stays intact after a system fluctuation.

Connection rescue options

Verizon recommends you choose from three unique circuitry setup options for your connection. As before, the choices would depend greatly on what your business needs – if you can survive system downtimes once in a while, you can opt for a double circuit solution for your bandwidth. This is the simplest and most cost-effective way of transferring data.

A diverse circuit configuration supplies a redundant connection that reroutes traffic through another channel if your main line breaks up.

The best solution, however, is the shadow circuit, wherein a second line with speed equal to your main line is assigned to function as a backup solution when your network crashes. If this is what your business is looking for, then Verizon’s Internet solutions is what you need. Sit down with one of their customer support agents and find out just how much they can do for you.

In the fast-paced world of online business, there’s no question that you need to keep yourself connected. No matter what kind of work you’re dealing with, connectivity to the internet is essential to taking your business to the next level. Sprint recognizes the need for a high-speed Internet connection and gives you the option to connect through the Sprint Internet network.

Sprint lets you take control of how you connect to the internet. A variety of speeds – from a traditional T1 connection of 56kbps, up to 10Gbps of connection speed with the help of an SCA device are available to choose from. Sprint recognizes the traffic and bandwidth requirements of its customers; small offices that don’t rely much on the worldwide web don’t need the same connection as businesses that deal with e-commerce require.

Sprint also gives customers the opportunity to connect through a variety of local access options. The most basic of these is Sprint’s provided access points, where they will install your network system and connect it to their central network. The other option is the reverse of this situation, where customer-provided access involves Sprint connecting their system to a network set-up that has already been installed in your office.

Customers can choose the protocols used by their Sprint network in order to fine-tune the service quality of their connection. The choice of state-of-the-art MPLS options, a simpler frame relay-to-IP, or ATM-to-IP networking service makes it easier for existing networking setups to connect Sprint’s services without having to upgrade or completely overhaul their system.

Customers who constantly travel have nothing to worry about; Sprint provides non-local access points throughout the globe for their clients through tenant sites Sprint shares with other providers. These facilities outside the US give you the power to access to Sprint’s network anytime, anywhere. Even if you are distanced from your base of operations, you don’t have to leave it behind.

For customers with at least a dedicated port in the Sprint IP main system, the option of a line provider to manage the primary and secondary DNS administration is available. This means is less work for you – Sprint’s system administrators will take care of providing your entire system and its components with dynamic IP addresses in order to facilitate their connection to the Internet.

Should your service experience any interruptions, Sprint makes sure that your line has a reserve port that you can switch to. This assures that your business will not suffer from any service interruptions. For an added fee, you can receive a dedicated IP port to switch to whenever interruptions do occur in your connection.

Sprint is an experienced service provider with a reputation for helping their customers build up businesses that rely greatly on voice and bandwidth-heavy Internet services by ensuring only the best service that can be found in the industry today.

Reducing operational costs and enhancing performance is made possible by converging technologies into one cohesive system. A mix of services and solutions is used when implementing networks, helping customers migrate into a multi-service platform. This makes customers’ systems more flexible, and makes it easier to manage and control their environments.

With our help, deploying new applications is faster, more cost efficient, and simpler in order to make sure your future is managed with the greatest of ease.

Planning

Information identification is an essential component in building a design for the customer’s current and future needs. A detailed analysis through planning will help you with the following:

Understanding existing networks, such as data and voice, and identifying quality of service and performance requirements of infrastructure.

Properly identify the size and scope of the proposed network without doing guesswork, and ensure that customers’ solution requirements and expectations are identified and addressed properly in the design phase. This way, design and deployment costs are reduced significantly because accurate data is provided.

Design

The design phase uses the information gathered during the planning phase to craft a solution that meets the customer’s present requirements as well as any anticipated needs. The output or deliverable from the design phase will not only define the solution to be implemented, but also articulate how the solution will be deployed through sections such as the deployment plan and the migration strategy.

Any information and data gathered during planning is used to create solutions that meet customers’ needs, both current and future, in the design phase. This phase dictates the output or deliverable that defines the solution to be followed, and articulates the deployment of the solution through different sections.

The design phase is composed of three key components: the design workshop, the document that contains the design solution, and the review and acceptance of the design plan.

Implementation

Deploying and configuring the solution that the design phase’s plans and strategies come up with is taken care of during the implementation phase. Plans and strategies, such as deployment, migration, and support and training strategies are all included in this phase.

The implementation phase includes tasks such as project management, procurement, and staging. This is also the phase where solutions are produced, implemented, and tested. Documentation of everything is included, along with administrator and end-user training, as well as operational handoff.

Support and Operations

Different levels of service and support for the multi-service infrastructure are available for different customers, depending on what they need. A wide range of customer support services is readily available, and can be used to assist clients in taking care of, maintaining, and developing their investment.

When you’re talking about Level 3 T1 Internet, you’re talking about quality service. This direct Internet access (DIA) provider is a world-leader in the industry that gives you a high-performance solution for all your Internet access needs in a hassle-free and timely method that can work as a stand-alone service or as a complement to a variety of Level 3 services.

Level 3’s DIA is a stand-alone network service with a unique Tier 1 network backbone offers a flexible and secure network connection for your business. This is important for companies that run a variety of operations that require a dedicated connection that won’t easily be compromised – in terms of speed and connection visibility. This is because the IP backbone used by Level 3 is an industry-awarded infrastructure that is recognized by third-party operations and services as one of the most highly connected in the world – no easy feat for any network service.

A variety of connections to choose from

Level 3 doesn’t skimp on what they provide you. Clients are given the option to select from a variety of connection speeds that will work for their business.

As far as time-division multiplexing is concerned, you can choose from the standard T1 connection up to a full-port OC-48 account. The difference? It depends on two things: the size of your company / network, and how dependent on the Internet you are. For example, a system with a wide area network that connects a large amount of computers to the Internet can’t survive very well with standard T1 connection, an OC-3 setup would be more beneficial.

Level 3 also sets up Ethernet –oriented transport connections. Depending on the infrastructure you require, you can choose from a simple Ethernet connection (for a small office) or a network-wide 10 Gigabit Ethernet solution for a system that requires a full-port setup.

No matter what connection type you choose, you are guaranteed several things. First, you are given the ability to allocate static IP addresses throughout your network, with high-speed DNS resolution speeds that will give you an easier method of changing IP whenever you need to switch from one IP address to another.

Second, you are assured an infrastructure that is both highly scalable and redundant. This means that your bandwidth is capable of adjusting to your network’s needs by matching the throughput rates and traffic passing through your line. If your system ever runs into connection problems, rest assured that the tech support at Level 3 will make sure you have the backup options to take over the traffic in your line whenever necessary.

Quality service guaranteed

Aside from the benefits of working with a Tier 1 network infrastructure that’s an industry standard in itself, Level 3 makes sure that their customer base is well taken care of in terms of technical support. You won’t be needing your own team of network experts, since Level 3’s 24-hour network support staff will help you make sure that your line is working at 100% capacity at all times. They will help you design your redundancy backup options, troubleshoot any problems you experience with your connection, and monitor your line’s status consistently in order to anticipate any upcoming problems even before you know they’re there.

What is Colocation?

In theory, a colocation service is a storage service that helps you streamline the way your company’s network functions. By choosing to colocate your network infrastructure, you are doing several things at the same time:

You are facilitating the storage of your network infrastructure by placing them on racks or cages of equipment, or inside private colocation suites that are designed to keep each and every part of your network in a storage facility that keeps its arrangement neat and easy to diagnose

Giving a remote data center the task of managing the physical security of your network. This includes but is not limited to: ensuring that your system has a constant supply of filtered, uninterruptable power, is sufficiently cooled by third-party cooling units, is properly connected to LAN(s) and WAN(s) that it is supposed to be connected to, and is supported by back-up power generators to safeguard in the event of power outages.

Colocation centers generally make it easier for you to manage your entire network hub using a remote staff of system administrators that are knowledgeable in keeping data centers running smoothly. These trained experts will handle services such as remote server monitoring and control, which means that they keep track of the status and functionality of your server, checking in with your service provider and tech support crew every so often to ensure that maintenance is at 100% efficiency. They will also take care of backing up important network data sent in from across your WAN.

In short, a collocation facility is a cheaper alternative to having an in-house IT staff to handle system servers and network routers for you.

Why Use Collocation?

If you’re looking for a way to manage your servers efficiently without having to worry about keeping a staff of tech support people, collocation is a good idea. This is also a good solution for offices with very little space for complicated networking hardware.

That’s because collocation centers are run round the clock by highly capable technicians with top quality equipment designed to handle a variety of situations, from server maintenance to emergency situations that require a delicate, knowledgeable touch.

In addition, a variety of ways to improve the service quality and function of your server are made available to you via the collocation center. Choose from a variety of outside power feeds and uninterruptible power supplies to keep your network running indefinitely. You can also purchase equipment designed to ensure that your system is safe from overheat and faulty circuits.

You can also choose to buy your data center incrementally, as opposed to setting up a network cabinet in anticipation of the accumulation of the server paraphernalia you’ll accrue through the years. The experience of the collocation center’s administrators will help you improve the arrangement and set-up of your network as the total server system grows.

How to Buy Collocation

Storage spaces used in collocation typically come in racks. If you wish to save on the price, you can go for a partially shared rack in 5U increments. You can also go for full private racks or a cage space if you have a large network storage space requirement.

Other facilities usually have private suites that you can rent for large server needs.

A calling card is a type of “credit” or prepaid card that can be bought and used as a way to redeem telephone and cellular phone minutes. This works by buying the time first, before using the service, as opposed to normal “post-paid” services wherein you use the service first, then the company sends you a bill after a pre-determined time, usually every month.

There are two basic types of calling cards that are offered by phone companies: Cellular phone calling cards, and long distance landline calling cards.

Types of Calling Cards:

A cellular phone calling card, also known as a “pay as you go plan,” requires users to purchase a calling card and to register the serial number to the cellular phone carrier in order to use the service. Different value cards will add different numbers of minute-credits. After all the credited minutes have been used up, one can just purchase and register a new calling card instead of paying a monthly bill. This type of plan is very useful to those who do not have credit cards – such as students, or people who don’t use their mobile phones as often as others.

A long distance landline calling card is, as the name suggests, a type of prepaid calling card for landlines. To use, the user calls an 800 number, registers the serial number of the card, sets up an account, and obtains a PIN or personal identification number before being able to use the paid credits. The access number and PIN is normally entered before dialling the desired phone number. Every call made is then electronically tracked by the carrier to automatically adjust the remaining credits left on the calling card.

Some cards can be “reloaded” by registering more credits into the account. This type of prepaid calling card is ideal for international travellers, or those who do not call long distance often.

Using Calling Cards:

Using prepaid calling cards is a very good way to budget your spending. Prepaid cards allow students and parents of students to track and limit the cost for cellular phone or long-distance usage.

On the other hand, some calling cards are not prepaid; instead, they accumulate monthly charges for every call made. Even though this type of card has no way of controlling spending, it is useful for businesses.

Calling cards come in plastic card form, or an access number and a PIN purchasable online. It is best to buy calling cards from reputable companies. If a carrier goes out of business, clients may be left with useless pre-purchased minutes, so look for services that ensure a credit refund if something like that happens.
